It's a mixed bag. If you're thinking of moving to one of the apartment blocks near the Kemp St/Griffith Rd roundabout, my advice is don't unless you have no other choice. They are one of the most unsafe places in the region. Other properties in this area are OK although proximity to the aforementioned is an issue. As you get further west towards Urana Rd it gets better, although I still wouldn't recommend anywhere east of Kotthoff St.
