There are two private elementary schools in Locust Valley, Friends Academy, http://www.fa.org/ and Portledge School, http://www.portledge.org.

Long Island is known for its excellent school districts. Newsday recently reported that Locust Valley schools, along with 6 other Long Island schools ranked in the top 200 schools in the country. http://www.newsday.com/long-island/education/seven-li-high-schools-in-top-200-of-most-challenging-list-1.7636233
In addition, we have several private elementary schools within minutes of Locust Valley, including Friends Academy, Portledge School, and Green Vale School.
