There are several, wonderful gourmet food shops in Locust Valley. Curds and Whey is known for its fine cheese selection and other culinary delights. Loafers Bakery has wonderful confections, but is also the "go to" place for fabulous pate, Hors d'oeuvre, and soup. In addition, the Locust Valley Market stocks a large variety of hard to find gourmet items. The deli has fantastic salads, grilled shrimp and other delicacies! Don't miss the Locust Valley Market on Birch Hill Road.
