How long would it take to get from Lowood to Brisbane CBD in peak hour traffic?

What would be the best way to commute from Lowood to Brisbane and St Lucia - Monday to Friday?

If driving a car it's 35 mins to Ipswich, then the usual peak hour raffic from Ipswich to St Lucia. When I used to work near Auchenflower I'd leave at 6am and get there around 7.40am. If I left any later I'd get all the traffic backed up entering the Ipswich Motorway from the Warrego Highway and then a huge wait at the Mt Coot-tha roundabout. I used to exit the Ipswich Motorway at Redbank and go via the back road to Wacol, then through Sumner Park & Mt Ommaney and enter the Western Freeway at Mt Ommaney or Jindalee.
My husband worked in Brisbane City and drove to Dinmore then caught the train into Brisbane. He'd leave at about 6am and get to Brisbane at about 7.45am.
You may find a better route now with all the roadworks that have been completed. We changed jobs to work where there was less travel involved.
