Flooding in Lurnea
Lurnea, NSW 2170 is located within the Liverpool local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.
Hello, my partner and I are purchasing a townhouse in lurnea, the council advised in the contract that it is a flood zone area due to the reserve right behind us. I just would like to know if there has ever been any flooding and if so,how bad?.

There has been a flooding back in 1987, none since, probably because the river channel was blocked. If you ever see rubbish in the river channel please report it to your local council so they can come and clean it up.
