Is the zinc smelter in Lutana still the main source of employment for the residents?

According to their web page Nyrstar employs approximately 600 people whereas the 2011 census shows the population of Lutana as close to 3000 so the answer is no. Additionally out of the four people I've known personally that have worked at Nyrstar only one lived in Lutana. Many years ago when it was known as EZ they provided cheap housing in the area but I think that stopped around 1970, so I doubt there are many employees from that period still working there.
