How safe is Macgregor now?

Been hearing of more break-n-enters and recently saw on the news a doctor was killed in his own home). Is Macgregor still a safe place for young families?

Break-ins occur in a cycle around all suburbs, rarely do they hit the same suburb regularly. Two instances we have experienced in 30 years, and one behind us recently resulting in a death of a doctor. (Random foiled robbery apparently.) If you chose a place away from the Rat-run that is Fleetwood Street, you will not regret living here...is close to everything... hospitals, shopping centres, University campuses and what not. Just please, if you do come here, mow your lawns!

Drugs are becoming a bigger issue.
It's the small handful hidden in the neighborhood. Problem is that you don't know who has the drug debt (And I'm not sure the debt collector does either)
