If numbers are anything to go by I would have to say that Macquarie is a good place to retire as there are 22% of 60+ year olds living in Macquarie as compared to 14% in the rest of Canberra. It is centrally located with a community market every Sunday and not that far from Belconnen Shopping Centre.
