Farrer

"A Community for All"

Farrer is located around 11 kms south west of the city. It is one of the larger suburbs in Canberra. It has a local shopping centre to meet the daily needs of the community and a major shopping centre is less than 10 minutes away. The Farrer Ridge Park is part of the Canberra Nature Park network and there are plenty of great walks to explore, or if you prefer horse riding or mountain biking. It has a local oval where all the sporting groups in the community compete. It also has a scout hall and a retirement village thus providing both ends of the age spectrum.
