Landsdale is a pretty good area, just 10 mins down the road. A lot of housing choice in that area and good parks, schools and shopping too.

If you want a good place to live near Malaga (maybe for work) you could go in lots of directions and still be 5-15 mins away depending on traffic. Opposite, you have Mirrabooka which gets a bad rap. But, there are some good spots, which are close to the Dianella border - some big houses there. Just down Alexander Dr you have Dianella and Noranda, whcih leads into older Morley areas. All these are nice established areas, with some redevelopment so you could get a newer house or rent one. The other direction takes you up the hill to Ballajura and Alexander Heights - you can choose lots of spots from these large suburbs. Again, some cheaper and less expensive spots depending on the street and location. Lived in that area in the past, never any problems, but it was a better location in the older estbalished part of Alexander Heights. These would be better options that Koondoola or Girrawheen also nearby, but it depends on your funds. You could choose based on what you want to do - older suburbs don't have the winding streets for an evening walk or maybe schools or the bus route is important? Best suburb - prob some of the good areas in Dianella, Ballajura and Alexander Heights, not necessarily in that order.
