We are moving to Darwin soon for work - is there anything we should know?
Malak, NT 0812 is located within the Darwin local government area, part of the Darwin Region in Northern Territory.
Actually being relocated here. We have a young baby and are looking for a nice area to live. We were thinking of malak. Is there anything we should know about here?

Malak is located within minutes of our major shopping centre (literally 2-3 minutes drive) Casuarina Square. With older homes on large blocks suits the growing family. Within walking distance to Leanyer Water Park, schools and local shops, Malak is perfectly located. 10 minutes (if that) will take you to Darwin’s CBD and 15-20 minutes can arrive in Palmerston. Some of my friends live in Malak and have elevated properties and have lived with their small children (now all grown up) and love the neighbourhood. No complaints from them thus far.
Note – make sure you bring some tank tops, cool dresses, shorts and thongs…. You will live in these items during the wet season :)
