There is work available in Mandurah as well as Pinjarra and the Freeway gives easy access to industrial areas like Rockingham, Kwinana, Bibra Lake and Canning Vale. Freeway traffic in peak periods is very light up to Rockingham exit and manageable from Rockingham to Canning Vale exit, after that it gets congested so not suitable for anyone working North of the river.

Generally unskilled work can be difficult to find, but both nursing and forklift drivers would be skills in demand - lots of aged care facilites; hospital. Even if no jobs actually in Mandurah, the freeway & trains make other areas potential employment options.
