What are the best areas around Mandurah for families? Are there any areas to avoid? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Do you currently live in Mandurah or have you previously lived there? Any idea what the further out suburbs like Meadow Springs and Lakelands are like? I see lots of new builds in those areas

There are some very nice suburbs around mandurah that are safe and well loved by families. Generally you want to avoid Dudley park and some of the central spots. But outskirts suburbs like parklands, meadow springs, Dawesville, silver sands are lovely safe and family friendly suburbs

Thanks Carla, that is very helpful. We have 2 young kids, 8+5 and have a job offer in Mandurah and are awaiting offshore visa nominations to open up again so we can move over from Scotland. I see quite a few properties for sale in Lakelands that look to have nice large blocks - any idea if Lakelands is a family friendly suburb? Hopefully get there sometime this year!

Yes Lakelands is family friendly and has some nice parks and close to shops
