Internet coverage in Northlakes
Mango Hill, QLD 4509 is located within the Pine Rivers local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.
Why is it that ADSL2 is not freely available in a suburb that seems to be so modern. Telstra seem to have the monoploy and is the only company that can provide you with ADSL2 (If you are lucky...most can not get it).
Mobile coverage is as bad. The signals are very weak and it is very difficult to use you mobile. I can only get one bar in one place in my home. The rest I get nothing.

Web and mobile coverage are a huge problem! It seems the infrastructure is not built as fast as houses are. It can be really frustrating to find out what services are available but you can use tools like this to see if you can get ADSL2+ in an area before you choose to live there. I believe it is primarily Telstra who are responsible for the exchanges that allow for additional services over phone lines like broadband. They need to be upgraded to allow for the DSLAMs that enable ADSL2+.
