Not all the things on this list totally impressed me, but the peephole at The Smith and the hidden fresco on the ceiling of the Litchfield Villa were pretty surprising:

I think I need to go have a fig dish at Delicatessen now, since they use the figs from the tree in the back yard.

That sounds amazing! I love figs; when I used to spend summers in Southern Italy I used to pick figs from the trees in our pension/guest house! I've been craving properly fresh figs and can so rarely get them outside Italy/etc

@uptowngirl -I never thought about it, although Bloomingdale's is so huge I suppose in retrospect it doesn't really surprise me too much. Gosh, I haven't been there in ages! I'll add it to my to-do list.
