Is Manly Brisbane an bogan area ? and surrounding suburbs

Manly, QLD 4179 is located within the Brisbane local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.

I was wondering if Manly Brisbane is a bad area or 'bogan' area of brisbane. What are the facilities like for families and what are the surrounding other suburbs like (crime safety etc)

Manly is a lovely suburb, I used to live in Paddington and made the move to the bayside for lifestyle. There's lots of parks for kids, events, good cafes etc. My neighbours are a mix of young professionals, families and retirees, none of them I'd think of as bogans

Hi Piat1, Manly is a great area of the Brisbane. The biggest attraction of course is the Bay :) loads of parks along the Esplanade, great primary and high schools, sporting facilities, and modes of transport include trains and buses. Manly is a popular suburb for its beaches, parks, restaurants and cafes, great fish and chips!!!
