Locals opinion please....Manly State School or Wynnum State School??

We are moving to the Manly/ Wynnum area with our 3 kids aged 5,8,and 10. We visited both Manly State School and Wynnum State School a few months ago prior to accepting a new job. Everyone tells us that Manly SS is the best school, but as an outsider I felt the Wynnum State School had an amazing facility and seemed equally as good too.... I would love to hear from any locals about the latest opinions on these two primary schools. Is Manly considered the better school because of the standard of education or because it has been know as a good school for a long time? Wynnum is a much newer school, I wondered if perhaps people haven't warmed to it as much yet...? It is important to get it right as one of my kids is dyslexic and I need make sure they will be supported at a good school.
