Just wondering about the Marsden 2nd Avenue area?

I'm right near there. To be honest Marsden is not so great any more, mostly thanks to the several gangs of local youths (several living right off 2nd Ave, as well as a few drug dealers there).
I've been here for 10 years, and we no longer feel safe to do anything in the local area.
We are only here until we have finally saved enough to move to the Sunshine Coast, and far away from this crime filled place.
It use to actually be nice around here, but within the last 3 or so years these gangs have gotten out of control, as well as the rest of the crime.
It is a shame as the location is really good with distance from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Bay side etc, and we really do have practically everything you need need within minutes. There are great local facilities, and community groups and services.
It really is just the insane amount of crime that happens here now that breaks this area unfortunately
