What's the commute time from Medina to Perth?
Medina, WA 6167 is located within the Kwinana local government area, part of the Perth (Greater) Region in Western Australia.
I have a applied for a job in Nedlands and am looking at property prices etc etc (I'm in NSW). Any info about Medina would be appreciated, especially commute times to Perth (Nedlands ). I could be mortgage free if I buy down there, I like the idea of closness to beaches, and as I am an artist I am attracted to the idea it has a Freemantle feel without the price (but is this just real estate speak?).
Failing this area being Ok...I might consider a mortgage to be closer in...have seen some houses in the Victoria Park area advertised mid 300's....any other areas close in with these sort of prices? Any other recommendations?

Drive time would be about 45-1hour from Medina to Nedland. Short drive to a train station (not sure of the publie commute time) Medina is an older suburb with lots of leafy streets, over in Perth it doesn't get a good rap. But I would buy a house there.
