Affordable and safe places to rent in Melbourne with good transport links to CBD?
Hi, Im planning to move to Melbourne in mid-Febraury with my partner and we have no idea which part of Melbourne we should stay. We are looking for one bedroom one bathroom unit in a safe area with public transport in walking distance (maybe less than 15 mins) as we dont have a car, and ideally within 30 mins to CBD. We can afford up to $300 per week including water and electricity. Thanks.

Try Mont Albert, Surrey Hills, Box Hill where it is close to the train and tram.
