Best places West of the city to live
Im moving to Melbourne in a few months and am overwhelmed by all the info out there yet I cant seem to find exactly what I am looking for. Husband will be working in Ballarat so needs to be somewhere west of the city but some of the reviews out there scare me. I have two young boys and would like a hood thats not too loud an busy but stilll with some entertainment and not too far from the city (Im not a country mouse at all!). Anyone that can solve my dilemma for me? Please help!

If you don't have to travel to city during working hours I'ld suggest you to look at Point Cook and Sanctuary Lakes.
