Review/ Advice on Merrylands?
Hi all. I am looking to buy in Merrylands (first time home buyer) and wanted some advice on the suburb. The reviews on this seem to be on the negative side but would be great if i could speak to someone from the area? Pls let me know

I've lived in merrylands for two years. Overall its been pretty good. Shopping centre has 3 major grocery retailers, 3 dept stores, banks, telco, etc. Library is great and there are plenty of parks. I love how close it is to parramatta and there is express train to city. Sometimes I dont feel safe if walking on the streets at night but so far nothing happened, other than occassional bad publicity on the news by some particular group.
