Apple taking over the Big Apple

Midtown, New York null is located within the Manhattan local government area, part of the New York City Region in undefined.

Apple is planning to launch its biggest store in the world at New York's Grand Central station. The store which is to open in September is too become Apple's top retail outlet as it is due to serve 700000 customers a day. Apple already has four stores (in think) around the city does the city really need another one?

Another one? We don't need it. And, the 14th street one is big enough. Kind of ridiculous.

@JenMac I thought so too perhaps they want to dilute the huge tourist crowds that throng the 5th Avenue store day and night?

Why do they even need such big spaces? They don't fill up the ones they have. And, I think Apple is basically taking over everything. Are any of you gals Mac users? I don't understand the appeal, honestly.

@BroadwayBK Funny, I was just about to say that I think I've had enough of the cult of Apple for a spell - they really are too ubiquitous. I don't have a Mac - but I guess if I did I could never write that last sentence because I would be Mac-brainwashed.

I have a Mac and I will never have a PC again. Most of my convert friends feel the same way. Yeah, there is a definite hype machine with Apple. But, they back it up.

@BroadwayBK I am with you on that one.. I am a PC while the husband is a Mac so there are both in our home and though I do use the Mac once in a way I am not converting anytime soon.

Yeah... Macs are too simple for me. I need the option to right click on things.
