"Toward Fullarton Rd, awesome, the further you get, the further you get from awesome"
I've been living on Milleara Rd for the last few year and initially thought it would be way too busy to live on, though being relatively close to the Fullarton Rd side (or where Milleara meets Woolrite Place) have found that not only is it not noisy but the traffic is no where nears as bad as what you think. The proximity to Keilor Rd shops and eateries is awesome as is having the bus, gym & Centre Way so close by.
So don't be turned off by it. If you're unsure, visit the house of interest during peek hours and access it for yourself.

"Not sure if the other person is talking about the same road because this pocket in Keilor East (End of Milleara Rd) is a fantastic area to live in. Just moved from the area after 7 years due to work but would definitely consider returning to area if had a chance. Close to shops, parks and freeways."
Milleara Rd. Great street especially top end as traffic noise is at a minimum. Drive straight down this road for only 10 minutes and you end up at one of the best shopping centers in Melbourne, Highpoint. Mind you on the way you pass another shopping centre and a shopping village, that have one of the best pizzas i've ever tasted. What more could you ask for???

My parents live in Sterling Drive and we've been living here for a month while we are looking to buy a house. I find the opposite with Milleara Road. If it's past the end where Fullarton Road is, where the roundabout that's not too bad. Any other area and it's insanely busy. Good luck trying to get your car out in peak hour traffic. It's very noisy, and is a main arterial for cars entering the Western Ring Road and The Tullamarine Freeway. It's also not close to any trains, the closest train station is Essendon which is a good 15 to 20 minute car drive away in peak hour. You can catch the 465 bus which runs along Milleara Road, but that takes even longer to get to the station. It is close to the shops at Centreway which provides a good range of shops to choose from.
