The Mission Bay development is still only about half done. Next year they will start construction on a new kids park that will have play equipment for toddlers and older kids. The design was approved several years ago by the City. The park will be between China Basin and Long Bridge Streets (a new street). There are a lot of parks that will be built over the next few years in Mission Bay.

The parks in Mission Bay are not ideal for kids because they don't really have swings and such, but they do have grassy open spaces where they can run or throw a ball around.
