"Not so nice"

Morisset used to be a lovely place to live. Had a really friendly country town feel. Now so overdeveloped it's loosing it's charm at a rapid rate. No infrastructure and services to keep up with the growth

"True country town community but still has city convenience"

We moved to Morisset a year ago and so far we love it! Has a great small town community feel and the locals are all so lovely.
There's coles and woollies and well as many local facilities and cafes.
The freeway is very close by to head north to Newcastle or hunter or south to central coast and Sydney easily. The trains going either way always stop at Morisset so it's very convenient.
Not far from beautiful watagan mountains for camping and hiking plus plenty of 4x4 tracks.
Plus beach half hour away and the lake 5 mins away.
Our kids attend the local primary school and it's amazing with small classes and fantastic teachers.
Great place to live and wish we had moved here sooner.

"Perfect Location"

On the F3 freeway, right between Sydney and Newcastle. Enjoy the best of both worlds: the surrounding Watagan Mt's, set on the largest salt water lake in the southern hemisphere (Lake Macquarie) only a short drive to the beach. And only a quick zip up the freeway to the City.

Great for

  • Recognised by Dept of Planning as an emerging major regional centre.
  • Gorgeous Parklands and Lakes
  • Short travel time to all modern Shopping Centres

"Little slice of heaven between Gosford and Newcastle"

Morisset is very under rated, Living here is easy as you are only a short drive in either direction from major shopping centres such as Westfield, Schools are close by but best of all we have Beautiful Clean lakes on our door step, so 5 min to launch the boat or take the Dog and kids to a lakeside picnic, there are many beach's within a short driving distance. Best of all are the Locals this is a place where you can still walk down the main street and even if you don't know someone they will say G'Day
