Hi Rudd,
Generally speaking, the Lower North Shore is a very secure market. As part of Sydney's inner metro ring, it offers great proximity to work centres and has plenty of desirable lifestyle amenities - factors that keep local prices stable with steady rises over the long term, as opposed to the peaks and troughs we see on the city's outskirts.
