If you can venture a little further afield - there is a great cafe on Mount Gravatt Lookout called LoveWell Cafe Project - great food, coffee and an amazing view of Brisbane. Definitely worth the extra drive or you can even walk up the mountain and reward yourself with a coffee at the top!

My kids and I love Paninni's located at 4/28 Carrara Street. If you love amazing wood-fired pizza and incredible pasta, this cosy BYO is for you. The nutella tiramisu is a pretty special treat too! The service is as fab as the food, but do make sure to book ahead as it's a fave among many locals.
