What is Internet access like in Mount Martha?

We are looking to move down from Sydney and run our small business from home. Good internet speed is crucial. What are access and speeds like?

Hi there. We live in Mt Martha and went through a couple of ISP's before winding up with Telstra ADSL2. I can't fault it. If I were you, I'd call Telstra and find out which streets have ADSL, and relocate accordingly: because Mt Martha is so hilly, and has only one Internet tower, the other service providers suck.

We started with Optus, and because it was a wireless signal with too many people accessing, it would drop out more than a dozen times a day. Infuriating and completely unsustainable for a small business. And many of the smaller providers (i.e. TPG) either do not serve this area, or do not offer high enough Internet speeds. Or they didn't when I (reluctantly) switched to Telstra a year ago.

Good luck!
