The festival, held on the second Saturday in July, has grown to become a "save the date" event for music lovers and their families. This volunteer-driven event has attracted well known performers such as Marc Cohn, Rusted Root, Joan Osborne, Jakob Dylan, The Bacon Brothers, Roger McGuinn while presenting dozens of local performers of original music. Fifty vendors and exhibitors offer food and drink, crafts and information, from local businesses and non-profits.
The festival, now in its 9th year, has built a reputation for being family- friendly, stress free and just all out great fun in the open air.

A great all day venue with excellent artists! Bring your friends, a cooler, lay out your blankets & dance if you feel like it. Casual, family atmosphere and food vendors too. Brett Dennon & Delta Rae gave fantastic performances last year!

Even if your style is not folk, alternative, or blues, you would recognize many of the names on the list of performers. There are three stages and bands/musicians play all day. Part of the flavor of the Music Festival is that it also features performers who are native residents our very own Hudson Valley. And you don't have to be a music lover to appreciate this event ... bring the family to enjoy food, beverages, vendors, crafts as well as fun and games for the kiddies. The organizers do a magnificent job. No problem getting there either .. it is a short distance from the Metro North Pleasantville station.

I've never been but it seems like most of the acts fall into the folk rock/alternative rock category. People who listen to WFUV and The Peak will be most likely to have heard of the acts. The English Beat is appearing this year, they've been around a really long time.
