Are there any areas to avoid in Mudgee?

i.e. noisy from businesses, bad parts of town, etc

Depending on what your budget is for buying or renting. There are better areas of town than others however accommodation can be tough to find and prices have been rising sharply lately. South Mudgee and Bellevue are predominantly residential estates for families, retiree's like East and Central Mudgee as they can stroll to the shops. West of Cox St is not as expensive and has a higher mix of rental and public housing. Putta Bucca and Bombira are all 1 acre plus blocks.
