Nursing and building work in Mudgee?

My husband and I are looking to buy our first home, and can't afford a house in Sydney where we have lived our whole 27 years. We both love the country lifestyle and would be looking at a house or land on an acre or more, and are wondering what the job opportunities are like in Mudgee. I am a registered nurse experienced in mental health and emergency and have worked in nursing homes and have some general medical/surgical ward experience, and my husband is an experienced carpenter/builder foreman. Is anyone able to tell us if there is much work in nursing and/or building in Mudgee? Looking forward to any answers! Thanks :) xx
