This all depends on the type of property you may be looking for. To simplify it east Mudgee is mostly owner-occupied, retirees, or short-stay accommodation. South Mudgee has mostly established homes surrounding the golf course and close to the brand-new hospital which is often appealing to families. North Mudgee is predominantly the prestigious market with spacious houses on bigger residential land holdings. The western side of Mudgee is more affordable housing and more rental properties.
