Don't know about the 'pests' lol, never noticed that before! There is a private room in maternity at the hospital. A new medical centre is great has a chemist next to it and it's own coffee shop. There is the community speech pathologist but you'll wait a while. Physio yes.
I moved away but miss the place so we're about to move back.
that's what I was thinking! rodents of unusual size perhaps? lol... thank u muchly sezzz that's very helpful indeed. so where would one go for special shopping trips, a weekend away or things like specialist appointments when living in mudgee, the closest larger town? also, are there more favorable parts of mudgee to live in? mudgee heights perhaps?? (;
Bathurst isn't too far away they have a couple of good shopping malls. Dubbo not a bad drive either. We don't mind driving and will sometimes head back over the mountains to Penrith for shopping too. I think some specailists travel to Mudgee on one day a month or so, otherwise Bathurst Orange or Dubbo depending on what you need.
East Mudgee is the nicest established part of town, and new estates are good like Glen Ayr and around Henry Bayly Dr, and the area over near the golf course of course. As for the rest of town there are little pockets here and there of nice but some pockets of daggy blocks so it's a case of drive around and see. West is a bit daggy towards the edge of town especially near west end sporting complex.
