I personally don't think the high rental rate in Narrabundah effects the atmosphere. It is a very diverse demographic anyway. Canberra is a very transient place so if people are moving here to take up a contract they will tend to rent. The rents are reasonably high because it is an inner suburb, so that keeps the standards quite high.
