Thinking of moving to Narre Warren

My young family is thinking of moving to Narre Warren near St James Court. Can anyone please let me know if NW is a safe place to raise young kids? Is it really rough/lots of bogans as some reviews have stated? If anyone lives or knows of anyone that lives on St James Court, can you pls let me know if it is a good street? Thanks

Narre Warren is a great place to bring up a family, great parks, multiple sporting facilities, childcare, kindergartens, schools, plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. St James Court is close to all the local amenities, walking distance to the train station, easy access to the freeway and good public transport links. I live a few streets away and its a very friendly area. I love it here. There are great walking paths that get you close to nature and you can go for many km’s on them if you wish. We have Bunjil Place within walking distance and it offers fantastic programs, theatre, Bands, Stand Up Comedians, Ballet just to name a few of the attractions there. They have lots of school holiday activities and multiple shows for all age ranges, there is something for everyone. We have an amazing Library and lots of community activities to get involved in. I think you will love it here.

I live a few streets away, this part of Narre Warren is really nice. It is close to schools, kindergartens, train station shopping, parks and walking paths. It’s a mixed neighbourhood, different ages, older couples, young families, established families, single house holds, some renters, lots of owner occupiers and pretty friendly folks. I can’t speak especially of St James Court as I don’t personally know anyone in that court at the moment. I have lived in this area for 31 years, never had a house robbery in my or any of my neighbours or friends homes. Personally I love it here, great amenities, great people, the local nature walks and multiple local parks are fantastic. Multiple sporting facilities and good childcare options. We also have Bunjil Place within walking distance which has some amazing theatre, comedies, ballets, bands and orchestras, etc. There is easy access to the Freeway and plenty of great shopping, restaurants and cafes very close by to choose from.
