Vacations

Did anyone go for any weekenders in the last few weeks of summer? I just got back from Locust Valley. It was really beautiful, but man, that is an uppity crowd. If I heard the term "HBS" (Harvard Business School) one more time, I would have drowned myself in the ocean :)

Ugh... I have a friend who went to Brown and whenever one of them has a barbecue, I end up answering the question "Did you go to Brown?" about 50 million times.

I was supposed to go to the Hamptons next weekend, but the house we were going to rent became unavailable - so now I think the plan might be to go in October and roast marshmallows.

Haha, @uptowngirl. Although I must say that the Hamptons are worse - I've never seen so many polos in my life!

That east coast private school attitude is such a trip. It's like, a lot of us went to really good schools. Just because we didn't have to traipse through snow to get to class doesn't mean you're cool. Oh, and by the way, you graduated years ago. Let it go, man. Let it go.

I agree, they will never, ever get it. I find it so sad when someone feels the need to work which school they went to into the first 5 minutes of a conversation.
