Homely Report Highlights Australia’s Friendliest Suburbs for 2023

Homely releases report on the top friendliest suburbs in Australia.
Homely.com.au, Australia’s third largest online real estate website, has released a report outlining the friendliest suburbs in Australia.
The report is based on an analysis of online reviews left by locals on the website, and includes feedback on the friendliness of the community, the level of neighbourliness, and the sense of belonging.
The report includes some surprising entrants, with some warm and unexpected results. From the leafy suburb of Glen Iris in Melbourne to Menai in NSW, the report showcases the diversity of Australia’s friendly neighbourhoods.
“We were surprised by the wide range of suburbs that made the list,” said a spokesperson for Homely. “It’s clear that friendliness is not limited to any particular location, and that there are friendly communities all over Australia – although there are a number of inner city suburbs in Melbourne and Sydney missing.”
The report also found that the friendliest suburbs tended to have a strong sense of community, with residents taking an active interest in their local area and getting involved in community activities. “Friendliness is not just about the people, but also about the environment and the opportunities available to residents,” said the spokesperson.
“We are proud to present this exclusive report as a unique and exciting way to show what kind of community you can find in different areas of Australia. It’s not only about your house, but also where you call home.”
