1. Balwyn

Located 10km East of Melbourne’s CBD, Balwyn is the most desired school friendly neighbourhood. 2. Camberwell

Not far from Balwyn, Camberwell has been described as “Camberwell is a great suburb for families and young couples with close proximity to schools” it has an abundance of private schools but has been noted for its public schools access as well. Schools such as Camberwell Primary School and Camberwell High School are both desired options for public schools in the area.

3. Kew

Kew does have an abundance of private school offerings, however there are other suggested public schools that are appealing for parents looking to live in the area. Schools including Kew Primary and Kew High School are very desired public school offerings.  Its close proximity to public transport with trams servicing the area makes it very easily accessible and strongly desired for families looking to buy. 

4. Seabrook

Seabrook has a great public school zone whilst also providing good liveability surroundings for consumers. Seabrook Primary has been mentioned as potentially the best public primary school in Victoria. With its close proximity in to Melbourne’s CBD- Seabrook provides a good offering for families looking to settle down. 

So if you are looking to make the move in to a new suburb, and you do have young kids, keep an eye out for good value in these suburbs. Finding the right suburb with good local schools is a sure fired way to keep your kids happy and also improve the value of your home.
