What is a great area to live in an apartment overlooking the river in Brisbane?

We are a maturer couple moving from NZ to Brisbane in April. One of us will be working from home. Haven't had a chance to look around areas apart from whats available for rent on the Internet, like the look of Newstead, South Bank and St Lucia. Somewhere that close to the airport train line would be a bonus.

Hey Ruth, do you have any preference for size or how much your budget is?
Many options in Brisbane, may be easier to help if you had some perimeters.

Prefer 3 bed or 2 with study area. Budget approx $800 and unfurnished.

The CBD and surrounding areas are incredibly well connected to the airport, so as long as you are near their. You can get to and from very easily. Having a brief look online, you have a good budget for what you want. http://www.homely.com.au/rent/map/-27.452/153.0455/14?pricemaximum=810&bedrooms=3
