Nightcliff offers affordable buying with a laid back lifestyle, beaches, markets, woolworth's shopping complex, doctors, dentist you name it and it is most likely around the corner. Its under 10mins from the CBD and 5 from the major shopping precinct. Riding trails, walking trails and great dry season events all make this area one to watch and enjoy!

Nightcliff is the ideal place to live a balanced lifestyle away from the crowded and over-rated Darwin city apartments. It offers the best sunset views in the region and does not suffer from the midgies or sand flies of nearby suburbs (eg Leanyer, Coconut Grove) as there's no significant swamps closeby. That's why so many people come from all over Darwin & Palmerston in the evenings for the sunset picnics on the public grassed areas that provide ample tables and seating near the big parking lots. The refurbished boardwalk jetty is also a great spot to fish from or to enjoy the ocean spray as waves crash against the scenic mudstone and claystone cliffs. The ocean invites you for a swim if you're not scared of box jelly fish; to make up for this risk, there's a public swimming pool right on the beach. Jump on your push bike and weave your way around the many joggers and pram-pushers along the pedestrian & cycle path that hugs the coast line. Rapid Creek and Nightcliff markets are within walking distance every Sunday throughout the year for fresh green vegetables and tropical fruits grown in the NT or for some spicy tucker cooked on the spot by the stall owners. There's also Woolworths, small corner stores, NT's only bowling alley, private and public gyms and small restaurants. Several good schools are also located in Nightcliff. Inspite of the presence of the Beachfront Hotel (great for the sundowners), there should be more similar public venues to maximise this locality's potential as a meeting place.

Nightcliff is almost located between the City Centre and Casuarina and is a 5 minutes drive to the airport.
Its set around the coast and has fantastic facilities ie walkpaths and gym stations as well as a swimming pool on the beach.
All facilities and shopping centres are within a 2 minute drive from Woolworths to dept stores, libraries, medical centre and dentist etc etc .
There are child care centres schools and kindergartens within the suburb.
Casuarina beach is only a stones throw away aswell as Rapid creek for those keen on fishing.
