Reviews of Nords Wharf, NSW
"Sought After Suburb on Lake Macquarie"
Rarely does an opportunity come along to purchase or rent in Nords Wharf. The locals here love their community and not very often to leave. This beautiful green suburb is nestled on the shores of Lake Macquarie. With a combination of acreage, modern homes and fishing shacks this peaceful suburb offers tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Whilst there is only a short drive in from the Pacific Highway, once in Nords Wharf you will feel a million miles away. The local public school is handy for young families, with High School options in nearby Lake Munmorah and Swansea.
Fraser Park and historical Catherine Hill Bay provide pristine beaches. With only a 30 minute drive to Newcastle there are endless options for fine dining and nightlife.
Plenty of parks and open spaces give Nords Wharf a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors.

"Peaceful village atmosphere on the shores of Lake Macquarie."
Just over an hours drive from Sydney, Nords Wharf is bound by native bushland and the beautiful Lake Macquaire. Featuring well maintained public reserves along waterfront (with amenities such as BBQ's, toilets, playgrounds, etc), and walking tracks through the surrounding bush. Nords Wharf enjoys an elevated position that affords most houses with views across the lake.
The village has its own Primary School, Day Care Centre, and General Store/Post Office, with major supermarkets and other facilities under 10mins by car.
Neighbouring Nords Wharf on the Pacific Ocean is Catherine Hill Bay, a historic township originally settled as a whaling station. The pristine beach at Catho is a popular haunt for surfers and is guarded by the Catherine Hill Bay Surf Life Saving Club making it a safe spot for families.
