Is Hobart Street in North Perth really busy?
Looking at a house in the street, but I'm concerned about the safety of our children and animals....

Its a pretty big road that serves as a cut through for many of the surrounding, smaller roads. Likes all roads this size, they come with there pros and cons. On the plus size, busier main roads are less likely to be targeted by thieves. But also the negative is what you mentioned.
Just confine everyone to the back garden :)
