Parap and Stuart Park Primary Schools are fine and as suggested St John's (catholic) is good. The best (from results in Naplan etc) is The Essington School Darwin. Middle Schools is Darwin Middle School, Essington School and St Johns (there are others but it depends on where you live etc.

Public schools around the cbd would have to be parap, stuart park and larrakeyah. Private school if you dont mind your kids having indigenous friends then st johns
