I heard that Nudgee has become a great family area, homes are nice and it is safe...True or false?

I have some friends who recently moved to Nudgee with their toddler and they really love it. There are lots of parks around and it is pretty safe. They have moved into one of the newer areas and it is a nice community.

No Worries, The mozzies can be bad in summer as you are just near Nudgee beach - my friends have a large supply of mozzie repellant in their cupboards. The areas close by are a bit industrial so it can be noisy if you move close to the main roads (Sandgate Road is one of the main arterials on the North side so it can get pretty busy). The area didn't flood in 2011 but I am pretty sure that it did in 1974 so there is that risk too however if you make sure you are insured for riverine floods you will be ok.

Thank you. I am moving up from Lismore shortly as my husband got a transfer to the Brisbane Airport. Any cons you know of? I heard the mozzies can be bad in summer??
