The Philly Fringe Festival also takes place in Old City each year. The Fringe Festival showcases Philadelphia-based artists, musicians and other talent. Old City has a few events in the area. One of the most popular ones is First Fridays. The first Friday of every month, all-year round, galleries open their doors for evening hours between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. It' makes for an amazing time.
