This is a great question! This iconic neighborhood is commonly referred to as Pacific Heights, and everyone knows it as such. However, locals and those "in the know" call it "Pac Heights" on a regular basis. "Frisco" is not an appropriate term for locals, but "Pac Heights" and "Lower Pac" are absolutely acceptable! I'm a San Francisco native, and have been calling it that for years.
