Is this a good suburb for families to live in

I am relocating from Melbourne to the gold coast. My family and i are looking at pacific pines. Is this a good family suburb. What are the pros and cons. Are the public schools good. Are there better areas to live in. What are the worst suburbs with the worst public schools. What is the difference between Robina and pacific pines.

Yes, heaps of great parks with really cool things. A few goos schools to choose from and close to a westfield shopping centre. Dont move to nerang! I would choose Pac Pines over Robina as its still a quieter area.

It's called 'Nappyville' - being newly established, and inhabited by young families. A bit distant from the sea, and consequently cooking hot.

I have a 40 square home up for auction this Sunday. It has 5 bedrooms plus an office plus a granny flat with ensuite and walk in robe. Immaculate. Have a look on www.realestate.com.au id 106482578. Very motivated sellers. I welcome all agents to introduce your buyers - 50/50 conjunction is available.

Have lived on the gold coast all my life and I now live in Pac Pines and would never consider leaving the area, It is one of the best designed areas on the goldy, gardens and parks are beautifully maintained, and great choice of schools (public and private). Close proximity to trains, bus links and shopping centres.
Like any area it has the odd rev head and a few of the streets are called 'nappy central' but no where as bad as other areas on the coast. Just be aware of the street you choose. eg the town houses and cheap houses attract young families.

Yes Pacific Pines is a great suburb with lots of bargains to be had in the area. You can still buy brand new houses in the area under $400,000 which is great for families. Many other advantages including close proximity to the highway, westfield shopping centre open until 9pm on weekdays (only one open so late on the entire gold coast), many parks and shopping centre with everything you need including a pub.

We have a few properties still available they are one and two storey houses priced between $380,000-$450,000. They are heavily discounted as the developer is extremely motivated to sell.

Excellent I used to live there I am saving now as its one of the few places left where you can still get a good cheap brick home. I have an investment property in Southport that cost me a decent whack more than what it will cost me for a brand new build in Pac Pines I am extremely anxious to buy.

I would say Robina is a better suburb, however the high school is not the greatest...
