"Great community in the South Eastern Suburbs"
My family moved to Pagewood almost one year ago. We love the proximity to Maroubra beach (less than 10 mins drive). Also the great local shopping and dining options at Maroubra Junction or Westfield and a huge Bunnings at Eastgardens. The M1 is just minutes away so travelling north or south is a breeze. Lots of large open spaces and green areas including off leash dog parks and skate park for the kids at Mutch Park. Very quiet in evenings and weekends, easy parking for visitors. Still relatively good value for the Eastern Suburbs with mostly older style houses on very large blocks. We love the local community, with lots of professionals and young families. Pagewood Primary School is a highly ranked public school with strict catchment and a great principal and staff. It is the best suburb we have lived in to date (previously having lived in Paddington, Rose Bay, Bellevue Hill, Queens Park and Rosebery in the East)

"Great small suburb"
I’ve been living in pagewood for almost 3 years now and it’s a great suburb which is clean and great for a peaceful experience, overall pretty quiet which can be relaxing, it also has great public transport for you to access which goes to Bondi junction, the city and the eastgardens shopping Center which is all you need as it has all the shops for clothing, food and supermarkets. There are also very nice parks and green grass around almost everywhere with birds chirping making it a relaxing sensation to walk your dog as there is a dog park 5 minutes walk away. The council is caring and clean the area everyday by trimming trees and bushes and cleaning the streets. People are friendly, neighbors are like friends which care for you.

"Green, Friendly, Beautiful Houses, Close to everything, a Gem Suburb!"
I've lived in Pagewood most of my life. It is a quiet neighbourhood with good schools, clean and green parks, great for raising a family. Fantastic public transport direct to the city. Eastgardens shopping centre at your fingertips. 5 minutes to Maroubra Beach, 10 minutes to Sydney Airport. Lots of knock down jobs, every few months there is a brand new house being built all double storey with lush landscapes. A really safe place to live there are no hooligans roaming the streets at night. Neighbours are friendly and look out for eachother. Prices for a house are going above the $1m mark nowadays so for a young family just starting out it would be very pricey to get a house here. Most residents have been living here for decades.
Overall a fantastic suburb. Good well respected families.
