Carpe Diem in Fairfield Gardens is a popular place and makes a great coffee and brunch. There are more locals cafes just next door in Annerley or Yeronga and most are walking distance, Little Clive Annerley, My Roasting Cafe in Yeronga as well as Andonis and many more

Hi TamraB

There are several options if you are looking for a good cafe in the Fairfield area. My two main recommendations for the best breakfast and lunch menus are Slinky's Espresso and Anesis. Slinky's has been open for 3 years now and we have always had great meals every time. My colleagues and I will always drop in for their Caramel Frappes (with coffee). Its located at 3/190 Fairfield Rd, Fairfield (beside Fairfield Gardens). Anesis is well renowned in the local area as a great cafe. Its got a large outdoor seating area, and always produces massive portions of good food. It can be found at 82 Hyde Rd, Yeronga.

So far I have not found a better coffee shop than these two in the local area around Fairfield.
